PARIS HILTON got into a scuffle at a Los Angeles club with Hollywood starlet SHANNA MOAKLER.
The hotel heiress told cops Shanna, ex wife of BLINK 182’s TRAVIS BARKER, punched her in the jaw at the Hyde venue.
Shanna’s police statement also claims that Paris’s ex, STAVROS NIARCHOS, pushed her down some stairs. A spokesman for Paris said Shanna confronted Paris and was screaming obscenities at her.
Then she had to be restrained by clug goers. Paris fled straight to the cops.
Shanna Moakler was booted off of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” in week two. But she’s still making headlines.
Shanna is apparently fighting mad at Paris Hilton for allegedly stealing her man – Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.
On Tuesday night, the two ladies ran into each other at the Hyde club in Hollywood and then the sordid tale of Shanna and Paris begins as the two were reportedly involved in a nightclub fracas.
Elliot Mintz, Hilton’s publicist, accompanied Paris to the Hollywood police station early Wednesday morning to file a report. Ironically, it’s the same station where she was held for an alleged DUI last month.
“She was hit in the face. She identified the person who was yelling profanities and assaulter her in an unprovoked manner,” Mintz told Access Hollywood.
Paris claims the person in question was Shanna, who was already inside Hyde when Paris arrived just before 1 a.m.
Paris signed a few autographs and made her way inside where she claims at about 1:10 a.m., Shanna (a former Miss USA) approached her, swore at her and then punched her.
Shanna’s rep claims that Paris’ companion in the club – ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos – bent back Shanna’s wrist, poured a drink on her head and shoved her down the stairs.
Paris, 25, and Shanna, 31, both filed police reports alleging battery. Officer Karen Smith said police took pictures of both women at the station, and that police planned to speak with witnesses at the club as part of their investigation.
But could the real reason for the conflict be Paris’ alleged romance with Travis Barker?
Earlier in the evening, around 10 p.m., Paris was seen hanging out with Travis at the Rolling Stone party.
Travis filed for divorce in August from Shanna after the couple tied the knot in 2004. In September, he was apparently videotaped kissing Paris. However, Paris’ publicist said the two are “just friends.”
